Narrandera consultations this Friday—Seeking views of organic producers
Have your say on the future of the organic industry
Policy Partners Pty Ltd is conducting regional consultations, seeking the views of organic producers about the future leadership of their industry.
The consultations are part of a project initiated by organic industry leaders from across Australia who are collaborating with a view to establishing a harmonised national voice for all organic producers, certifiers and the supply chain.
This workshop is being sponsored by BioAg Pty Ltd, a local agricultural services company based in Narrandera, and the Riverina Organic Farmers Organisation.
Tony Webster, Managing Director of Policy Partners, said "The consultations are part of a project to produce a roadmap for the industry. One possible path in that roadmap is the creation of a new national peak body to provide a harmonised voice for the organic industry."
The 2½ hour consultation workshop will be held in Narrandera at 9.30am on this Friday 25th August.
Policy Partners has published an Issues Paper to guide the consultations. For further information, visit the project website at www.organicindustries.com.au
RSVP is required for catering purposes. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org or phone/text Tony Webster on 0448439334 to register.
