National Organic Mark
The Organic Mark was launched on 30 November 2016. It is Australia’s own national organic seal, and is available for use for operators who comply with the Australian National Standards for Organic and Biodynamic Produce.
Use of the National Organic Mark is now available to all certified organic operators in Australia, free under licence from and administered by the Organic Industry Standards and Certifications Council and its members, which includes all 6 national organic certifying bodies, as well as the Organic Federation of Australia and Government representatives.
The free use of the Mark by all Australian organic businesses and framework surrounding it will allow for better recognition, access to, and awareness among health conscious consumers both in Australia and Internationally.
